A video showing Astronomer CEO Andy Byron allegedly cheating on his wife with the company’s Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot during a Coldplay concert in Boston is making the rounds online. The two, first locked in a tender embrace, caught by the kiss cam (which in concerts and stadiums casually frames couples in the audience to encourage on-camera kissing) end up on the big screens, notice and panic: she turns around, visibly blushing, and Byron, in an attempt to evade the camera, dives behind a barrier.

Commenting on the incident from the stage, first tenderhearted then doubtful, was the band’s frontman, Chris Martin. “Look at these two…,” he says initially. Then, when panic has broken out between Byron and Cabot, he adds, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.” Finally, mortified, the singer concludes, “I hope we didn’t do anything wrong….” (Neither Byron nor Cabot have publicly commented on the video.)

Neither are single: He is reportedly married to Megan Kerrigan, lives in New York and has two children. She has reportedly been married to Kenneth C. Thornby for some 20 years. Nine months ago, Astronomer hired Cabot as their Chief People Officer. The company specializes in software with an estimated valuation of more than $1 billion, according to Newsweek.
The live cheating video went viral around the world, and the kiss cam at the Coldplay concert turned into a potential relationship destroyer.
