Halle Berry Pairs a Plunging One-Piece with Outrageously Big Hat

Halle Berry must have been inspired by Blake Lively’s costumes in Another Simple Favor, because she just rocked a truly outrageous oversized black sun hat—iconic. The actress, who is on vacation in Joshua Tree, California, took to Instagram to share pictures of her poolside look—a one-piece black-and-white one-piece with a retro plunging neckline, which she paired with a black straw hat with an extra large brim. “Desert days 🌵 windows down, music up, nowhere to be but here,” she captioned the post.

Berry completed the summery look with a delicate gold necklace and a minimalist pale pink manicure. She wore her bob in beachy loose waves and rocked a no makeup-makeup look.

Berry has shared a number of other swimwear outfits in recent months. In June, she shared a clip of herself dancing her boyfriend Van Hunt’s new music in a white bikini in her hotel room in Switzerland.

Shortly after posting the video, Berry shared some thoughts about feeling confident in her own skin as she reached menopause. “Best part of menopause? I don’t give a f*ck,” she wrote. “Not about opinions. Not about playing it cute. I move how I want, wear what I want, and do it for me. That’s the freedom no one tells you about ‘til you’re living it. There’s nothing like a spontaneous dance party, and my partner just wrote this song as a witness to where I’m at right now in life—unstoppable, joyful, and FREE!”

Back in December, she also shared a mirror selfie in a plunging black one-piece and a (slightly smaller) straw hat.

Back in 2021, Berry spoke to Vogue about one of her most iconic bathing suit moments to date—her orange bikini in Die Another Day in 2002. “We tried on so many bathing suits,” she said. “So many bikinis and so many belts.

“We had a knowing that it would maybe, because it was in a Bond movie, become an iconic situation … something that would live a very, very long time,” she added.
