Aghast as some of us (me) may be at the return of the low-rise-jean, we (again, me) must admit that on Jessica Alba, at least, it looks damn good.
The 2000s silver screen queen turned mom-product entrepreneur was recently spotted outside the ultra-exclusive members-only Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood wearing loose-fitting straight-leg jeans and a sheer ruched black bustier top with an oversized blazer, accessorized with a patent black bag, pearl and gold jewelry, and black heels. The black leather belt with a prominent gold buckle helped her jeans stay not quite up but not quite down. (It’s not the exact same belt as in this mirror selfie, but clearly this is her favorite type of belt.)
All in all, the perfect outfit for when you’re going out but don’t want to look like you’re going out.

Fresh off a divorce filing from husband Cash Warren, Jessica Alba has been hitting the streets lately and is rumored to be dating actor Danny Ramirez, best known for roles in Top Gun: Maverick and The Last Of Us. Things are “very new” between them and “they’re having a good time together,” a source told People of the pair, who were spotted on a Cancun getaway earlier this month.
Over on Instagram, Alba issued a statement of her own, proudly declaring: “Mom life is the best life 🫶🏽.” She also released a selfie, a picture of her son and a picture with her son. So true, Jess. Alba and Warren share three children: daughters Honor Marie (the sassy Wimbledon one), born in June 2008, and Haven Garner born in August 2011, and son, Hayes, born in December 2017.
