ICYMI: Old Navy is having a moment. The classic mall brand started blowing up on TikTok earlier this year, then Sabrina Carpenter cosigned its famous flip-flops, and this week InStyle’s Slack channel couldn’t stop obsessing over how expensive its affordable new arrivals look.

The brand just dropped so many late summer and early fall styles that I need in my wardrobe ASAP—think: dainty pointelle sweaters, breezy, chocolate brown mini dresses, and work-ready trousers that are both polished and cool. I’ll be wearing this chocolate brown mini dress now through fall. The length, relaxed fit, and breezy flutter sleeves make this an obvious pick for hot days, but that dark color allows you to take it into autumn. At the end of September, just swap your Mary Janes for knee-high boots.

Wool-Blend Puff-Sleeve Tie-Neck Sweater

My favorite item from the latest drop is this short-sleeve pointelle sweater. I’m obsessed with the knit material—that intricate pattern looks way pricier than $40—and that sweet tie at the neck. It definitely doesn’t hurt that it’s super lightweight and breathable, though all I need to wear it beyond summer is a blazer.

High-Neck Shirred Cropped Top

This simple white tank top is a must-have for one majorly flattering reason: That side ruching. The scrunched detail creates an hourglass silhouette without actually squeezing the waist. And since it’s a white tank, it’ll easily pair with anything in your closet.

This floral maxi dress, which has a relaxed, comfy fit and deep V-neck, expertly walks the line between everyday and dressy. To wear it more casually, you can opt for sneakers and a denim jacket, but all you need to dress it up is a pair of heels or cute ballet flats.
