Ebon is married to Yelena Yemchuk
Ebon, 48, and Yelena, 55, met in the 1990s through a mutual friend, but they were both in relationships at the time.
“When I saw Ebon, I was, like, ‘Oh, my God, he’s cute. Who is this guy?’ My friend was, like, ‘Forget it, he has a girlfriend and he’s an actor.’ And I was, like, ‘Ugh!’ When you think of an actor as a boyfriend, that’s not where you want to go. They just seem like such a pain in the ass,” Yelena told The New Yorker in 2022. She added, “Ebon is the least actor-y actor I’ve ever met.”
A year and a half after they met, Ebon and Yelena were eventually single and they started dating. They have not revealed when they got married.
The couple share two daughters – Sasha, who was born in 2007, and Maribelle, who was born in 2010.

Yelena previously dated The Smashing Pumpkins’ lead singer Billy Corgan!
Yelena was previously in a relationship with Billy Corgan, the lead singer of The Smashing Pumpkins. She directed the music video for the band’s song “Thirty-Three” and shot some of their album covers.
“What is amazing about this relationship is it exists on two very important levels,” Billy told the Los Angeles Times back in the day. “We have a total love connection as a man and a woman, which is very deep. At the same time, because we are both artists, there is a total support and understanding for each other’s work.
“I don’t feel I have to explain my obsession. I don’t have to explain why I am in the studio for 16 hours a day. She understands. . . . My life has improved tenfold since meeting Yelena. My relationships with people, my enjoyment of my work, my appreciation of other artists,” he added.
