Jennifer Lopez Goes Makeup-Free in Selfie for Her 56th Birthday

Jennifer Lopez is celebrating herself for her 56th birthday. 

In new pictures shared to her Instagram page on Thursday, July 24, the “Jenny from the Block” singer took it back to her roots by embracing a bare-faced photo of herself. 

“BirthDAY 🩷🧡💚📍Antalya, Turkey,” she captioned her carousel, adding, “What a gift you all are! Thank you so much for all your beautiful birthday wishes.”

Her ultra-stripped glamour shot showed Lopez posing in front of a mirror for a selfie with nothing but the skin she was born in. The “Waiting for Tonight” singer had no traces of makeup, revealing her truest self.

She wore a striped blue and white button down for the photo. 

Lopez’s birthday recap however, was much different, showing the superstar in a full glam for her cover photo. 

The Hustlers movie star shot the camera a sultry glance with a smokey eye, contoured cheeks and a nude lip. Her blonde hair was curled with a flirty, tousled look, and she wore a white robe for the selfie. 

Of course, her carousel featured content from her actual celebration, which came during a night off from her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour. It also happened to be the perfect time to drop her latest banger, a new song called “Birthday.”

In one video Loepz included, she danced while surrounded by people who cheered her on at a super chic private venue. 

She wore a form-fitting, sparkling silver dress with a plunging neckline and an even lower dip in the back. 

Her longtime friend and manager, Benny Medina, also appeared in the clip as he enthusiastically wished her a “Happy Birthday” on the microphone over the music. 

With the help of a stand, her three-tier birthday cake was nearly as tall as her — donning pink and white icing plus sprinkles. There was also a J. Lo topper, a nod to her nickname.

Photos shared to her Instagram Stories also showed her stunning birthday dress as well as the birthday vibes. Lopez’s Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour is her first in six years after canceling her This Is Me… Live tour in May 2024.

Her current tour kicked off in Galicia, Spain, on July 8. She’ll return onstage on July 25 with a performance in Warsaw, Poland. 

During one of her latest stops, Lopez had a clever response to a fan’s question as she appeared to reply to a sign that read, “J Lo, marry me?”

“I think I’m done with that,” she joked with the crowd during her concert in Bilbao, Spain, per a fan’s video shared on X. “I’ve tried that a few times.”

The “Get Right” hitmaker will end her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour in Sardinia, Italy on Aug. 12 before her residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas begins in December.
