“I feel unhappy I am so sad,” Kelly wrote. “I lost the best friend I ever had 💔”
Osbourne passed away this week after a decades-long battle with Parkinson’s disease, as confirmed by his family in a statement released on Tuesday, July 22. The Black Sabbath frontman was a heavy metal legend who was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” the family’s statement read, per the Guardian. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.” Reps for Osbourne did not immediately respond to InStyle‘s request for comment.
In 2020, Osbourne revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2003. He called it a “terribly challenging” time but added that it was “not a death sentence by any stretch of the imagination.” His farewell concert earlier this month marked the first time he had appeared on stage with Black Sabbath in 20 years.
