If Liam Neeson is around and a certain 1990s pop song comes on, you might just see the Taken star take to the dance floor.
In a joint interview with PEOPLE, Neeson and Pamela Anderson, his costar from the rebooted slapstick comedy The Naked Gun, discuss the “silliest” thing Neeson, 73, does off-camera.
“You dance to that, ‘I’m too sexy for my…’” says Anderson, 58, referencing the 1991 hit from English pop band Right Said Fred. “Sneaky little dance moves.”
Or as Neeson — a father to Micheál, 30 and Daniel, 28, with his late wife Natasha Richardson — calls it, “Dad dancing. It always embarrasses my boys when I get up to dad dancing. ‘Dad, stop!’”

Neeson gets up to far more ridiculous antics in The Naked Gun, an updated version of the 1988 comedy starring Leslie Nielsen and Priscilla Presley.
In one scene, Neeson, who plays L.A. Police Squad Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., the son of Nielsen’s character, is dressed like a school girl while thwarting a bank robbery.
“Lord. Yes, I asked for my skirt to be shorter so you could see my knickers, which surprised me because I hate my legs. I hate showing them,” admits Neeson, who says he was self-conscious when he was boxing in his younger years and thought everyone was staring at his lower body: “’F–, they’re going to look at my legs.’ Seriously, I hated them.”

Anderson — who plays Beth Davenport, a seductive woman involved with Drebin as he investigates the suspicious death of her brother — and Neeson grew close while making the movie in Atlanta.
“I felt Pamela had no airs and graces or inflated ego, seemed just sensitive and warm, open, vulnerable, beautiful,” says Neeson.
Anderson even baked Neeson sourdough bread and cookies to leave in his dressing room. (He rates her baking skills as “superb.”)
“Did you know that? You’re a friend for life,” Anderson tells Neeson. “Like it or not.”
As the pair have traveled the world on their press tour for the movie, they’ve had the internet captivated by their sweet gestures and interactions on the red carpet.

“Liam is the perfect gentleman,” Anderson told PEOPLE last year. “He brings out the best in you.”
The Naked Gun is in theaters nationwide on Friday, Aug. 1.
