Taylor Swift Supports Boyfriend Travis Kelce with a Rare Shout Out

Taylor Swift is in her supportive girlfriend era. On July 25, the singer took to her Instagram Stories to share a subtle shout out to boyfriend Travis Kelce, who makes a cameo in Happy Gilmore 2.

“Happy Gilmore 2 had me cackling and cheering the whole movie! An absolute watch, 13/10, go watch it on @netflix as soon as humanly possible 🍯,” she wrote alongside a picture of the poster.

Kelce makes a cameo in the film as a hotel waiter who serves as “an antagonistic rival to Bad Bunny’s character,” per Variety. Apparently, “The waiter gets his comeuppance at the end of the film with a memorable scene involving a shirtless Kelce, a jar of honey and a hungry bear,” which explains Swift’s honey pot emoji.

Swift’s sweet post comes just days after Kelce shared a rare carousel on Instagram that featured a number of cute snaps of him and Swift together. The pair could be seen posing together at a number of parties and, in one picture, fans even spotted that the pair have matching couples phone backgrounds.

As one source told, People, Kelce’s post was “intentional,” as he wanted to show “how serious things have become.”

Added the source, “They’re in a really solid place and more in sync than ever.”

As Kelce’s NFL season approaches, Swift is expected to be showing up for her boyfriend in the stands. “Her schedule is much more open now that the Eras Tour is wrapped and she’s genuinely excited to have the time and flexibility to show up for Travis more consistently,” a source previously told People, hinting that Swift would likely make more appearances than ever at his games.
