Aaron Rodgers is in the throes of newlywed bliss—and he’s got his new wife to thank for it. The football star stunned sports and pop culture fans alike in June when he confirmed he’d secretly gotten married “a few months ago” to an unnamed woman—all while proudly wearing his new wedding ring front and center. Now, Rodgers is giving fans a glimpse into his “incredible” marriage as he shared rare comments about his new wife on Saturday.
While chatting with the NFL Network at the Pittsburgh Steelers’ training camp on July 26, the Steelers quarterback mixed the professional with the personal while opening up about his support network at home. Rodgers, who tied the knot with a woman known only as Brittani earlier this year, explained, “When you meet the right one and you’re with the right one, your whole world changes in a second,” the athlete shared, per a video shared on the NFL’s X (formerly Twitter) account.
Rodgers reflected, “To have that person that unconditionally loves you behind the scenes, there’s no better feeling in the world and I have the most incredible wife,” noting that “when you have that stability and that rock behind you at the house, you feel like you can do anything.”

The former Packers star concluded, “I just really love her and I’m so thankful to have her by my side at the end.”
Not much is known about Brittani, whom Rodgers previously revealed doesn’t have social media and is a “private person.” He first spoke about his then-girlfriend during a December 23 appearance on The Pat McAfee Show while confirming he was “in love,” telling his interviewers, “It’s a good feeling, boys.”

It’s a sharp contrast to his star-studded romantic history, which includes Big Little Lies actress Shailene Woodley, Olivia Munn, race car driver Danica Harris, and Gossip Girl alum Jessica Szohr. Rodgers recently slammed the “sick” interest in his wife’s identity on The Pat McAfee Show, sharing, “Now I’m with somebody who’s private, who doesn’t want to be in the public eye. Didn’t sign up to be a celebrity. Doesn’t want to be a part of it. Because I do things in private because I want my personal life to be private, now I’m weird and now the paparazzi is stalking me … trying to get a picture of her.”

Revealing that he plans to step out of the spotlight once he retires from football, Rodgers added, “If and when [my wife] wants to be out and there’s a picture, she’ll choose that. She deserves a right to that.”
