Kamala Harris Spotted in Cotswolds for Eve Jobs’ Wedding Celebration

Eve Jobs’ wedding festivities were star-studded.

Steve Jobs and Laurene Powell Jobs’ daughter began her nuptials with a lavish dinner at The Bull in Charlbury, days before her wedding to British Olympian Harry Charles.

Among the notable guests spotted at the couple’s pre-wedding celebration was former Vice President Kamala Harris, 60. The Sun reports that 20 Secret Service agents were stationed at the venue for heightened security, and that politician Adrian Fenty was also in attendance.

Ex-U.S. vice presidents, along with their spouses and their children under 16 years old, get Secret Service protection for six months after they leave office, but can be extended if needed, according to the Former Vice President Protection Act of 2008, officially known as H.R. 5938.

Harris’ term in office ended on Jan. 20 when Donald Trump was inaugurated for his second nonconsecutive presidential term after winning the 2024 Presidential Election.

Harris, along with other guests at the wedding bash, were seen sitting at a long banquet table adorned with red roses. As they dined, they appeared to listen to a speech by Steve’s sister, Mona Simpson.

Guests were also treated to a ten-song set by Jack Savoretti, 41, who sang some of his hits including “Catapult” and “What More Can I Do?” He finished with a cover of “You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me,” per The Sun.

Eve, 27, and Charles, 26, tied the knot on Saturday, July 26, in the Cotswolds, a region in South West England according to The Times. The ceremony was held at the small medieval parish church of St Michael followed by a reception at the private members’ club and hotel Estelle Manor, according to the outlet.

In addition to Harris, the guest list for the couple’s nuptials included Bruce Springsteen’s daughter Jessica Springsteen, and Bill and Melinda Gates’ daughter Jessica Gates. Kourtney Kardashian was also in the Cotswolds that day, and shared pictures on Instagram including one of Estelle Manor.

Eve and Charles went public with their relationship at the 2024 Summer Olympics. 

Charles is a show jumping competitor who represented Great Britain at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. He’s also the son of an Olympic gold medalist, equestrian Peter Charles.

In June, Eve shared a glimpse at her bachelorette festivities in an Instagram carousel that she captioned, “what a weekend with my favorite girls 💖.”

The post began with a photo of Eve sitting in an open-air vehicle with pink seats and a pink roof while wearing a white mini dress and a matching veil headband. 

The carousel continued with a selfie taken by one of Eve’s friends as the group of girls walked together down the street and a snap of three inflatable sun bed loungers hooked together.

Other images showed the equestrian posing with friends on a yacht, a dreamy picture of the sea and a bowl of fruit arranged on a plate with “Cheers to love” in cursive.

Eve is one of four children belonging to the late Apple founder who died in 2011 after complications from a rare form of pancreatic cancer.

Steve and Laurene also shared Lisa, 47, Reed, 33, and Erin, 29.
