Tyrese Haliburton Is Engaged to Girlfriend Jade Jones

Tyrese Haliburton is celebrating a major milestone.

The Indiana Pacers star, 25, shared that he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Jade Jones, via a sentimental Instagram carousel post on Monday, July 28.

In the first snap, Haliburton is seen down on one knee on the court of Iowa State University’s Hilton Coliseum. He is holding an open ring box as Jones expresses awe by covering her face. Haliburton, who exited the NBA Finals after injuring his Achilles last month, is noticeably wearing a boot on his right leg.

The words “Will you marry me?” are seen in lights, surrounded by red roses behind the future newlyweds.

The pair have been romantically linked since 2019, when they were students at Iowa State. At the time, Haliburton played for the Iowa State Cyclones. Jones was previously a cheerleader for the university.

Haliburton continued his carousel with sweet images from his proposal, including a photo of him and Jones embracing on the court, sharing a kiss and posing in front of the Iowa State University sign as Jones shows off her diamond ring.

The Pacers point guard rounded out his series of photos with a picture of him holding Jones’ hand, her ring and red and white polka dot nails on full display. He ended the carousel with footage of the moment he placed the ring on his future wife’s finger.

Jones marked the occasion in the comments section and wrote, “Future Mrs. What the Hali 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭,” a reference to Rob49’s viral social media song, “WTHelly.”

In April, Haliburton celebrated his and Jones’ sixth anniversary together. He posted two Instagram photos of him cozying up to his now-fiancé and wrote in the caption: “6 years, countless memories, and a lifetime to go. I fall for you more everyday, I got you forever. Love you J❤️.”

Jones expressed a similar sentiment in the comments section, writing, “6 years of my favorite memories with you 😘😘😘.”

She also sent love to Haliburton in her own Instagram post featuring a set of photos of the couple over the years.

“6 whole years of loving you 🩷,” she wrote alongside the images. “Every single day you continue to amaze me!! You make this world shine so incredibly bright and I’m so lucky to spend life by your side. You are so special to me, our love is one in a million- My best friend forever & ever!! I love you 🫶🏼🥹.”

Haliburton commented, “6 years damn, my ride or die always! Love you girl❤️.”
