As a visibly emotional Sharon Osbourne mourned her husband Ozzy Osbourne’s death during his Birmingham, England funeral procession on Tuesday, July 30, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the Black Sabbath legend’s widow wore a sweet Ozzy tribute close to her heart—quite literally. Wearing a long-sleeved black dress, Sharon could be seen sporting a meaningful new jewelry piece as she stepped out at the memorial with her three kids as well as her stepson Louis.
Sharon and Ozzy’s kids Aimee, Jack, and Kelly could be seen supporting their grieving mom as they walked along Broad Street with stops at “Black Sabbath Bridge” and “Black Sabbath Bench.” The TV personality broke down into tears during the emotional day, flashing peace signs at the crowds of fans before getting back into their vehicle. As she walked, fans noticed that Sharon was wearing a new necklace—a long chain with Ozzy Osbourne’s wedding ring on it—as a sweet tribute to their over four-decade-long marriage.

The legendary musician—who previously opened up about being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2020—passed away at 76 on July 22, just weeks after his final Black Sabbath Show in Birmingham. The bittersweet show was the end of a musical era, but it also ushered in a personal new beginning for the Osbourne family. Kelly took to Instagram shortly after the farewell performance to reveal that her longtime boyfriend Sid Wilson proposed after the Villa Park show. In the July 5 photo, the black hoodie-clad singer could be seen giving the camera a shocked expression as Wilson knelt on the ground with a diamond ring next to Sharon and Ozzy.

Shortly after the news of his passing, Osbourne’s family shared a joint statement with the Guardian, revealing, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
