James Gunn is sharing an update on Margot Robbie‘s future in the new DC universe.
If you forgot, the 35-year-old Oscar-nominated actress has played Harley Quinn in three movies – 2016′s Suicide Squad, 2020′s Birds of Prey, and 2021′s The Suicide Squad, which James, 59, directed and wrote.
In a new interview, James, who is the current CEO and Co-Chairman of DC Studios, addressed Margot‘s future in the new universe.

While he’s currently staying mum on Margot‘s future, James did say that he really wants to be bring Idris Elba as Bloodsport.
“I definitely am always looking for a place to put Bloodsport and figuring that out,” James noted. “So we’ll see what happens.”
Idris, 52, made his debut as Bloodsport in 2021′s The Suicide Squad starring alongside Margot.
