Oasis and Susan Boyle’s fandom seems to be a mutual feeling.

“Gutted to have missed you in Edinburgh but hope to do the poznan soon! 💕,” Boyle commented on the post, referring to the stadium-wide celebratory dance that Oasis fans do, linking their arms together and jumping up and down.

Oasis is currently on their first tour in over 15 years. The band, made of brothers Liam, 52, and Noel Gallagher, 58, was formed in 1991. After years of feuding amid a complex relationship, the band broke up in 2009 at the Rock en Seine festival near Paris following a fight between the brothers.
Later that day, Noel posted on the band’s website that he was leaving Oasis.
“It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight,” he wrote, per Pitchfork. “People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.”
In August 2024, the band shared a cryptic social media post, indicating a comeback was in the works. Days later, they announced their reunion tour. “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,” Oasis said in a press release at the time.
Boyle spoke to PEOPLE in 2019, 10 years after she made her appearance on Britain’s Got Talent that launched her into superstardom.
“Fame is such a bizarre concept and has never been my motivator. I just want to sing for people and give them joy, happiness, suspend reality for a brief time and entertain,” she said at the time.
“For the first few years that was a constant worry I had, that this dream, this amazing journey that I was on, and I worried it would disappear overnight.”
“You hear the cliché ‘five minutes of fame’ and I kept thinking to myself, well my five minutes must surely be up, but 10 years on, and I’m still going, which is probably as much a shock to me as everyone else,” concluded Boyle.
