The Amazing Race is returning — with some familiar faces!
The hit CBS competition show follows teams of two racing and traveling around the world to win the grand prize of $1 million. As the show plays out, the teams must put their brains together to solve different clues and navigate around foreign countries.
Past contestants are primarily everyday Americans, but The Amazing Race has also featured former reality TV stars, athletes and celebrities. However, the show is returning this year with a special twist.
The season 38 cast consists of all-star Big Brother alums competing against one another. The former reality TV stars will be paired up with a friend, partner or family member as their partner. In August 2025, CBS officially revealed the 13 pairs competing, as well as the location.

The Amazing Race season 38 cast was officially announced in August 2025. In all 13 pairs, at least one person competed on the hit surveillance show, Big Brother. Before filming started, the contestants were unaware they’d compete against their fellow Big Brother alums.
“We’ve invited some of Big Brother‘s favorite contestants to get out of the house and race in the real world,” host Phil Keoghan said in the teaser. “[They are] paired with their favorite traveling companions.”
The 13 pairs comprise at least one Big Brother alum and their loved one. Enzo Palumbo, who competed on both seasons 12 and 22, paired up with his brother Jack Palumbo. Meanwhile, Natalie Negrotti, who competed on season 18, brought her sister Stephanie Negrotti. Season 21 alum Kat Dunn raced alongside her boyfriend, Alex Romo.
The Big Brother season 23 alums include Hannah Chaddha, who brought along her sister Simone Chaddha; and Kyland Young, whose girlfriend, Taylor Hale, competed on season 24 of Big Brother and won.
The Big Brother season 24 alums are Joseph Abdin (who dated Hale), who brought his brother Adam Abdin; and Matt Turner, who is joined by his wife, Megan Turner. The season 24 winner, Taylor Hale, competed alongside season 23 contestant Kyland Young, as mentioned above.
The two former stars from season 25 include Izzy Gleicher, who brought her fiancée, Paige Seber; and that season’s winner, Jag Bains, who worked alongside his brother Jas Bains.
The final four pairs that round out season 38 are four contestants from season 26 of Big Brother. They include Angela Murray, who brought her daughter Lexi Murray; Rubina Bernabe, who paired up with her sister Kristine Bernabe; Tucker Des Lauriers, who brought his brother Eric Des Lauriers; and the season 26 winner, Chelsie Baham, who competed with her father, Jack Baham.
