The Jonas Brothers are getting candid about their on-tour bathroom habits.
In an interview clip with Z100 shared on Instagram ahead of their JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas revealed how they perform their massive setlists while balancing the inevitable bathroom breaks.
“A lot of artists will talk about how they have to go to the bathroom while they’re onstage. There’s, like, a pee bucket in the corner,” radio personality Danielle Monaro on Elvis Duran & The Morning Show mentioned.
Joe, 36, confirmed, “We got those.”
The host said that with the band, she figured that the respective Jonas Brothers could cover for the other person while they relieved themselves.
Joe said ahead of their opening night concert on Aug. 10 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., show no. 1 was “testing out” where and when “you can pee.” He noted that the trick to keeping it from smelling backstage was cat litter.
It “cuts the smell,” said Joe, confirming someone’s off-camera query about the litter “clumping” as well, making it easy to clean. Nick Jonas chimed in that this subject was “not what I expected.”

Kevin, 37, chimed in that “it’s great.” “They got solo music as well and Jonas Brothers,” Kevin said, referring to Joe and Nick’s respective independent projects.
Joe quipped that Kevin “has a poop bucket,” and Kevin joked that he can “take my time” while Joe and Nick, 32, focus on their solo music during the concerts, which typically happens in the second half of their 20th anniversary tour shows.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the JoBros spoke about their setlist for the JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour, which evidently included bathroom breaks.
“There’s so much music to play,” Kevin said at the time. “The setlist is hard to build, right? But at the same time, it’s so fun because we do get to take breaks and admire each other’s work at the same time.”
Added Joe, “And pee breaks mostly.”

Bathroom breaks are important. Celebrities have gotten candid about powering through them at shows and have crappy bathroom stories of their own. In July 2023, Joe previously spoke about pooping in his pants mid-concert.
“Let’s just say it was a bad day to choose to wear white clothing. You think it might be a little toot, it might’ve been a little something else, a little something extra. So it was like a mid-wardrobe s— change during the set,” Joe admitted while on KIIS FM’s Will & Woody radio show in Australia.

“If you go in the archives, there is a wardrobe change halfway through the show, and it was maybe a little bit like, ‘Oh that was an interesting choice to change clothes that quickly,’ ” he added. “That’s a story I’ve never told and also that’s just real life.”
Joe reflected on the mishap, embracing that he’s not the only one to have experienced it. “It wasn’t as big of a deal as I thought. But such is life. It has happened to many artists. I feel like I’ve paid my dues, and I feel like I’m a part of some secret club now.”
