Hailey Bieber is celebrating a major milestone for herself and her son, Jack Blues Bieber.
On Friday, Aug. 22, Hailey took to Instagram to share two adorable new photos of herself with her now 1-year-old son Jack on his first birthday.
Alongside the photos of Hailey looking blissful as the son she shares with husband Justin Bieber lay on her chest, she wrote, “1 year of you my beautiful boy. Happy 1st Birthday Jack Blues, you are joy personified🩵.”
The celebratory post comes weeks after Hailey teased the special day by sharing some of her favorite new mom products that she used during Jack’s first year of life.
“Since my son is almost a year,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on July 31, “I wanted to finally share all my favorite pregnancy and post baby things that I loved and couldn’t live without and some I still use to this day.”
“For any pregnant or new mamas, these were the things I couldn’t live without,” she noted.
Hailey then shared the bumpology Bump Butter, Glow 9 Organics Belly Butter, Trilastin Intensive Stretch Mark Cream, her own Rhode Glazing Milk and Lip Treatment, Naturium The Glow Getter Multi-Oil Body Butter, Silverette Nipple Cups, Skims Nursing Bar and Boy Shorts, momcozy M5 Pumps, Coterie Wipes and Diapers, Bumpsuit Pajamas, Belly Band and Carrier, Bombas Compression socks, BodyArmor drinks, trace Mineral Drops, earth mama organics Organic Nipple Butter, glass milk jars and Weleda Diaper Cream.
Over the last 12 months, both Hailey and Justin have kept their little boy’s face away from the public eye, only posting strategically posted photos of Jack over the last year.
Here are some of the cutest posts of their family of three so far:
Tiny Toes
During a conversation with Vogue, published in May, Hailey called birth “the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”
Easter vs Easters Past
Hailey told Vogue at the time that she felt stronger than she’s every felt going into the birth of her son, but despite doing everything she could to prepare, her body didn’t go into labor naturally.
After she began leaking fluid, Hailey was given Pitocin to induce labor as her doctor used a Foley balloon to encourage her cervix to dilate.
Describing the induction process as “so crazy,” the model and entrepreneur said it “was not fun. They broke my water. I went into labor and I labored for a few hours. No epidural, nothing.”
A Family Walk
A total of 18 hours later, she gave birth to Jack Blues Bieber, she told Vogue.
Father and Son Time
However, just moments after Jack’s arrival, the infant was whisked away when Hailey began experiencing postpartum hemorrhaging.
All Things Pink
Hailey told Vogue the moment was “a little bit scary,” but she trusted her “doctor with my life.” Bieber told Vogue.
“So I had peace that I knew she would never let anything happen to me. But I was bleeding really badly, and people die, and the thought crosses your mind,” she admitted, noting the only thing on her mind at the time was being with her newborn son.
Jack in A Box
Hailey told Vogue that it was important for her to share her labor and delivery story and her hopes of growing their family in the future.
“You’re not the same person that you were before,” Bieber tells Vogue. “You change head to toe. And I think there was a minute where I kept really hyper- fixating on getting back to what I was. And then I had to go through that acceptance of, ‘I’m not going back.’ So it’s really about how do I want to move forward? Who do I want to be?”
The Biebers
Now her focus is Jack. “He’s my priority. He is the most important thing to me,” she told Vogue.
