Millie Bobby Brown has come out as anti-bra, and who can blame her. Bras are the worst.
While promoting her Florence by Mills clothing line on Instagram, Brown praised her long-sleeved top for its bra-less support. “For a girl who hates wearing a bra—and boy, do my fans have to see my nipples on the day-to-day, but I don’t like wearing a bra,” she said, “You do not need a bra with this top. I feel fully supported.” She added in the caption, “just keeping it real 😂 .” And hey, you know what? Not every bra-free moment has to be a movement. Sometimes, we just want to be comfortable.
We imagine comfort is top of mind for the 21-year-old at the moment. Earlier in the summer, Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi adopted a baby daughter, which they announced on Instagram on August 21. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” the couple wrote in their statement.
The news wasn’t a huge shock to those who have been paying attention to Brown’s public statements lately. Earlier this year, Brown said on the Smartless podcast that she’d always wanted to be a mom, and perhaps a young mom like her own mother. She also talked about her openness to adoption. “I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting,” she said at the time.
Also on August 21, Brown was spotted pushing a stroller out in the Hamptons, wearing a sweater reading “Mother.” She also a phone case with the initials “RWB” written on it, which is perhaps a reference to her daughter’s name. Listen, all we’re saying is that we wouldn’t be surprised if Brown launched a “mom” collection, or even a baby collection, next season.
