Travis Kelce’s new Kansas City, Mo. restaurant is alchemizing his love of sports and his fianceé Taylor Swift’s music.
1587 Prime, a steakhouse, will feature a cocktail garnished with cucumber, orange peel and roses, called “The Alchemy.” The drink is named after a song on Swift’s album The Tortured Poets Department, which has been widely speculated to reference Kelce.
The beverage was teased in an Instagram Reel shared on Thursday, Aug. 28. In the video, a waiter serves Kelce, 35, and Patrick Mahomes the beverage, saying, “This is the Alchemy.”
“Oh yeah, I see it,” Kelce says, before Mahomes, 29, takes a sip and nods in approval.
“The cocktails you won’t stop talking about — and for good reason,” the caption read. The romantic song features the football-themed lyrics, “Where’s the trophy? He just comes runnin’ over to me / Touchdown / Call the amateurs and cut ’em from the team.”

The love song also references another beverage. “This happens once every few lifetimes / These chemicals hit me like white wine,” Swift, also 35, sings.
The menu reveal comes days after the pair announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, Aug. 26. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” Swift wrote in the caption.
The post was set to the tune of “So High School,” another track long rumored to be about Travis since its appearance on her 2024 album.
Travis proposed with a ring he designed with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry. The stone is an “Old Mine brilliant cut,” which the “Cruel Summer” singer shows off in a series of photos announcing the big news.

The first engagement photo shows Travis proposing on bended knee as Swift lovingly rests one hand on his face. Other shots show the pair embracing and sitting on a bench underneath a blooming pink-and-white floral trellis.
Swift and Kelce made their first public appearance since the engagement news on Thursday. They took in the Cincinnati Bearcats and Nebraska Cornhuskers game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. Kelce played with the Bearcats during his college career at the University of Cincinnati.
