Warning: There are spoilers for season 3, episode 8 of The Summer I Turned Pretty in this article. Read at your own discretion.
As the third season of Jenny Han’s The Summer I Turned Pretty reaches its end, fans are even more invested in the love triangle that includes brothers Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher and their lifelong best friend Isabel “Belly” Conlkin.
During the most recent episode of the series, which premiered on Wednesday, August 27, we saw the engagement between Jeremiah, played by actor Gavin Casalegno, and Belly unravel on the day of their wedding after Conrad, played by actor Christopher Briney, officially declared his love for Belly two nights before the big day.
At the end of the 8th episode, Belly, played by actress Lola Tung, is seen buying an airline ticket from Boston Logan airport to Paris. Just before she steps on to the plane, she looks over at the waiting area next to her where she sees Conrad waiting to board a plane back to California.

Fans are now left waiting to see how Belly reacts to seeing her first love sitting at the airport after he declared his final goodbye. At this point, Conrad is unaware Belly and Jeremiah called off their wedding.
However, fans took issue with the final scene. Not because they’re not #TeamConrad but because fans are claiming the final scene of episode 8 is unrealistic.
Some fans questioned on social media that “if Conrad is going to California, then he should be on the other side of the Airport and not on this side where Belly is going to catch the flight to Paris (international flight), since Conrad’s flight is domestic (within the US).”

And now the shows creator Jenny Han is addressing the discourse by sharing a screenshot of massport.com’s website coupled with Dua Lipa’s song “Blow Your Mind.”
“International Departures,” the screenshot reads. “Terminal E is the primary international terminal at Boston Logan servicing international arrivals and departures; however, international departures may leave from any of Boston Logan’s four terminals. Please check your airline directly for gate assignments prior to arriving at the airport.”
Several moments after clearing up any confusion, Han also shared the trailer for the last three episodes of The Summer I Turned Pretty, which shows Belly in Paris, removing the ring Jeremiah gave her, and seemingly finding herself abroad.
“Anything could happen,” the show captioned the trailer.
The final three episodes of the show move beyond the book trilogy written by Han between 2009 to 2011.
Episode 9 of The Summer I Turned Pretty will premiere on Wednesday, September 3.
