Snoop Dogg is speaking out and walking back his comments.
The 53-year-old rapper and The Voice mentor got plenty of criticism when he spoke out about taking his grandson to see Lightyear in theaters back in 2022.
If you are not familiar, Lightyear has a same-sex storyline where a couple raises a child together.
“I didn’t come in for this sh–. I just came to watch the goddamn movie,’” Snoop Dogg recalled in an interview that has since gone viral.

Now, Snoop is speaking out amid criticism for his homophobic take on having a gay storyline in a movie.

“I was just caught off guard and had no answer for my grandsons all my gay friends no what’s up,” he commented on a Hollywood Unlocked Instagram post about the viral story, in which TS Madison was addressing the situation.
“they been calling me with love 💖,” he continued.
“my bad for not knowing the answers for a 6 yr old 😳 teach me how to learn I’m not perfect 🙌🙏🐾,” he added.
