UTA has signed Charlie Puth for global representation in all areas, the company announced Wednesday.
A four-time Grammy Award nominee, Puth has garnered over 35 billion global streams with nine multi-platinum singles, including hits “Attention,” “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” “See You Again, “Light Switch” and “Left and Right,” with BTS’ Jung Kook.
“Charlie’s prodigious artistic vision extends well beyond the world of music,” UTA partner and co-head of talent Jay Gassner said in a statement. “His incredible talent as a storyteller and creator opens the door to new opportunities and we’re excited to bring them to life.”
His 2015 track “See You Again,” which he was featured on alongside Wiz Khalifa as part of the Furious 7 soundtrack, landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it remained for 12 weeks. Aside from his musical efforts as an artist, Puth is an established songwriter and producer. He notably co-wrote and co-produced “Stay” by The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber, which stood at the Number One 1 spot on the Billboard Global 200 chart for 11 weeks.
“Charlie is a global star and a remarkable live performer,” said UTA partners and co-heads of global music David Zedeck and Sam Kirby Yoh. “As he steps into a new chapter in his career, we look forward to championing his growth on the world stage.”
Puth released his latest track, “Hero,” in May 2024. His last record, the self-titled Charlie, arrived in October 2022 and landed at No. 10 on the Billboard 200.
He is represented by his managers Mikaela Puth, Ty Stiklorius, and business manager Josh Klein, with legal representation from Paul Rothenberg/Rothenberg, Mohr, Binder LLP.
