THURSDAY 9:19 PM OCTOBER 2, 2025 PARIS
Before last night’s sexy, boho-inspired Spring Summer 2026 Isabel Marant show, we cozied up to Iris Law and gave her our fashion week questionnaire IRL. The result? A little insight into how a model and It Girl holds it all together during the most chaotic week in fashion. Step one: be humble, beautiful, and bring a friend. Step two: get a scoop of pear-flavored ice cream and chocolate sorbet and mix it all together.

TAYLORE SCARABELLI: Okay, we’re going to do our fun little fashion week questionnaire. First up, an easy one. How did you get here?
IRIS LAW: I got here in a car. [Laughs] I came straight from getting ice cream?
SCARABELLI: What flavor?
LAW: I got pear-flavored sorbet and white chocolate ice cream and then I ate them together.
SCARABELLI: Gorgeous. What’s today’s theme?
LAW: Today’s theme is “Try and be cozy all the way until the last minute because the show’s at nighttime.”
SCARABELLI: Your look is kinda cozy, though.
LAW: Yeah so true. It’s like the right temperature and it’s really soft.
SCARABELLI: I’d say cozy desert glam? I didn’t get a glimpse of the collection before but this sand has me intrigued.
LAW: Someone was just about to interview me saying, “Describe your outfit in one word,” but I had no idea what to say.
SCARABELLI: Everyone loves that question. Okay, what’s keeping you going?
LAW: My friend who’s here with me.
SCARABELLI: That really helps during Fashion Week.
LAW: Yeah, it’s so nice. Like every time I’m excited to get home and see her. And she’s coming to my dinner tonight with me. Last night, my heart was beating so fast and it was dark and I was like, “Can you hold my hand?” And she was like, “Oh, of course.” So we were just holding hands in bed.
SCARABELLI: That’s so sweet. There’s a lot of bullshit going on during Fashion Week so it’s nice to have someone to talk you down. Okay, next one. How long did it take you to get ready?
LAW: Not that long, actually. But I got ready at 12 PM because I wanted to spend the day with my friend. So we did glam at, like, 12 PM and then I was out and just came straight here.
SCARABELLI: And it still looks perfect.
LAW: Yeah, I just did my lipstick again.
SCARABELLI: Best part of your outfit?
LAW: My tights. I love them. In the fitting, they only had fishnets and I was like, “In the screenshot, there were all these lace tights.” They were like, “Oh, we’ll need to go find them.”
SCARABELLI: Fierce. Do fashion shows make you nervous?
LAW: No, I love it.
SCARABELLI: Are you good at small talk?
LAW: I feel like Fashion Week is full of a lot of small talk because you feel anxious and your prefrontal cortex just shuts off. But I’ve become a less anxious person, so I can actually try and have a real conversation.
SCARABELLI: Right.
LAW: Sometimes I find myself making small talk with my oldest friend. It’ll be someone who I grew up with and I’ll be like, “So, how’s the weather today?”
SCARABELLI: I just saw you talking to your friend while all these people were taking your photo. That’s so crazy.
LAW: Yeah, that was weird. You’re trying to talk but I was just thinking like, “My phone’s in my arm. Am I standing weird?”
SCARABELLI: Because you’re so aware of your body because you’re a professional.
LAW: Also, the weirdest thing with TikTok is people taking videos of you talking. Before, it might just be photos, but now they could also be getting a video. Like, I was just telling her where I’m moving to and then I thought, “Oh my god, what if someone’s videoing me and it goes viral on TikTok.”
SCARABELLI: They’re gonna hear you or like, read your lips or something. Crazy. That’s a lot. What’s the most embarrassing thing in your bag?
LAW: I carry around a tea cup and a tea strainer. I’m not embarrassed by that, but people think it’s weird. It’s just a loose ceramic cup, but it’s never broken and I’ve had it in my bag everyday for like two years.
SCARABELLI: Is it a special cup?
LAW: Well, it is beautiful and it is ceramic and it is special to me, but it’s not expensive.
SCARABELLI: It’s like your emergency tea.
LAW: It’s like, antique, yeah. This is fun because I wouldn’t know what I’d be doing while I’m waiting for the show if I wasn’t doing this.
SCARABELLI: [Laughs] I know. I’m like, “All the other questions are about the show we haven’t seen yet.” What are you doing tonight?
LAW: I have a work dinner and then I’m packing because I’m shooting tomorrow and then I go straight from set to the airport. So I need to pack the night before and then take my suitcase to set.
SCARABELLI: Then, where do you go?
LAW: Dubai. For work.
SCARABELLI: Have you been there before?
LAW: I’ve never been.
SCARABELLI: Is there anything you want to do while you’re there?
LAW: Just like, be in a hot country. I don’t know much about Dubai.
SCARABELLI: Last question, who’s the winner of Fashion Week?
LAW: Isabel Marant.
SCARABELLI: Good. Perfect. Thank you.
LAW: Bye.
