United Talent Agency is staying put in Beverly Hills at its longtime headquarters.
The David Kramer-run Big Three representation giant inked a long-term lease at Civic Center Drive with the building’s owner, investment firm DivCore Capital, which unveiled the new deal. (The year that the lease runs through wasn’t disclosed.)
The agency occupies two four-story buildings and 192,000-square-feet as the sole tenant of the complex, which originally was Hilton Hotels’ HQ when it opened in 1985.
UTA had been based at Civic Center since 2012 after it signed a 15-year lease at the time following a move from its old Wilshire Blvd digs. That was around the time the agency opened its Seventh Avenue office in New York. In L.A, it enlisted architecture firm Rottet Studio for an extensive series of renovations said to cost around $30 million for Civic Center.
Among its top rivals, WME Group inked a long-term lease to keep its headquarters at 9601 Wilshire Blvd last year, while Creative Artists Agency has a longstanding plan to move in 2026 from its “Death Star” building to a new Century City tower on 1950 Avenue of the Stars just a short walk away from its current HQ.
In recent years, UTA has opened offices in Nashville (2021), Atlanta (2023) and in London (also 2023), while its Medialink acquisition brought with it a Chicago presence. “UTA has been a valued tenant since we acquired the building in 2018, and we’re pleased to continue this relationship as their real estate partner in Los Angeles,” stated Costa Petrunoff, managing director-investments at owners’ DivcoWest.
