Digital media veteran Greg Goodfried has joined Creative Artists Agency as an agent in its Creators division.
He will represent digital creators and podcasters, while also helping drive digital strategies for CAA clients across its film, music, television and sports divisions. Goodfried co-created LonelyGirl15, the pioneering Internet sensation, and co-founded EQAL, a digital content studio for consumer brands and artists like Jennifer Lopez, Bethany Frankel and Lauren Conrad.
After selling EQAL in 2013, Goodfried joined UTA as an agent in its digital media department, in 2020 joined up with TikTok and social media star Charli D’Amelio, before launching DamGood Management in 2023.
“There are few people who have so consistently moved the needle through innovation across the digital and creator landscape – Greg is one of them,” Brent Weinstein, head of the CAA Creators division, said in a statement. “He has been a trusted business partner, colleague and friend for over 20 years, and I am excited to see him leverage his entrepreneurial spirit, expertise, and creativity to help drive meaningful initiatives for our clients and partners.”
CAA Creators represents digital video and audio creators amid brand marketers, companies and investors driving the emergence of a fast-growing creator economy in film, TV, publishing, consumer products and live touring.
Jamie Guggenheim, previously a manager at DamGood Management, will also join Goodfried as an agent in CAA’s Creators division as Hollywood looks to attract digital disrupters and influencers to power the entertainment industry’s new tech- and social media-driven ecosystem.
CAA Creators represents leading creators like Amelia Dimoldenberg, Quen Blackwell, Meredith Duxbury, iShowSpeed, Haley Kalil, Trisha Paytas, and Liza Koshy. In the last year, the division signed new creators like Dhar Mann, Jesser & Bucketsquad, Mythical Entertainment’s Rhett & Link, Deestroying and Airrack.
