Fans of Big Brother were devastated to learn that season 27 houseguest Mickey Lee passed away on Christmas Day 2025. She was 35. The news was confirmed by her family in a heartfelt Instagram post on December 26, 2025.
“Mickey captured the hearts of audiences nationwide through her appearance on Big Brother, where her authenticity, strength and spirit left a lasting impression on fans and fellow cast members alike,” the post read. “She will be remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of so many and for the genuine connections she formed both on and off screen.”
Lee’s death came after a sudden health crisis. According to a GoFundMe page created on December 23, 2025 — just two days before her passing — the reality star suffered a “series of cardiac arrests” and had been hospitalized in an intensive care unit.
“Mickey recently suffered a series of cardiac arrests and is now in the ICU in critical but stable condition,” the fundraiser’s description read at the time. “She has been surrounded by medical professionals and loved ones, but the road ahead will be long and challenging. This sudden health crisis has left Mickey and her family facing enormous emotional and financial strain from mounting hospital bills to ongoing care and recovery costs.”
The GoFundMe page was set up to help cover “medical expenses not covered by insurance, ICU and specialist care, rehabilitation and recovery support, family travel, lodging, and related costs.”
Lee’s family also shared that the cardiac arrests stemmed from complications related to the flu. Though the reality star was known for her vibrant personality and active lifestyle, the sudden nature of her health crisis came as a shock to those who knew her.
