Kim Kardashian is being called out by animal rights organization, PETA.
The 45-year-old reality TV star got her four kids their own puppies for Christmas, and the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals spoke out.

Founder Ingrid Newkirk shared a statement about Kim‘s gift to her kids, as well as sister Khloe Kardashian, who also gifted a dog to her family.
“Puppies are not plushies, and it’s a damn shame that Kim missed the chance to be a spokesperson for shelter pups and instead is being rightly slammed on social media for that,” she said, via People.
“Call PETA or a local shelter the next time,” she noted.
“[They can] try to make some amends now by sending their kids to volunteer at a local shelter or paying for a local shelter adopt-a-thon or at least one spay day to help stop the growing homeless puppy crisis,” the founder added.
Kim shared photos on her social media, revealing she got four small Pomeranian puppies, while Khloe got a black Labrador retriever puppy.
