Lana Del Rey is sharing sweet memories from her wedding to Jeremy Dufrene.
The “Summertime Sadness” singer’s one-year wedding anniversary might be more than a month away, but that isn’t stopping her from reflecting on an intimate moment at her September 2024 ceremony.
“May 12 angels guard you while you preach tonight,” Del Rey, whose real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, captioned a photo of her standing at the altar with Dufrene in a Wednesday, July 30 Instagram post.
The dimly lit image showed the “Say Yes to Heaven” singer holding her husband’s hand as they stared into each other’s eyes.
Only one other person appeared in the photo, Churchome pastor Judah Smith, whom Del Ray tagged in the post. His wife, Chelsea Smith, was also tagged in the caption. Del Rey sent love to Judah in the comments section of the post and wrote, “Thank you Judah for always uplifting me.”
Dufrene and Del Rey’s relationship dates back to at least 2019, when she posted the Louisiana native and boat captain on Facebook. However, they were not romantically linked until August 2024, when a Reddit user took a picture of the two eating lunch together in London.
The couple tied the knot in Des Allemandes, La., on Sept. 26, 2024, after obtaining a marriage license three days earlier.
“The wedding ceremony and reception were both held in the same bayou where Jeremy operates his swamp boat tours,” a source told PEOPLE at the time.

“This is where they first met. It’s a special place for them. It was a beautiful, relaxed and family focused wedding. The focus was just on their love story,” the insider added.
Since then, Del Rey and Dufrene have celebrated their love story in just about every way possible — including an April Instagram post featuring an alligator birthday cake and coordinating “bride” and “groom” captain hats.

Del Rey’s hat noticeably had a short wedding veil attached.
The cake showed a gator rising out of the water with a message that read, “Happy birthday gator! Always standing bayou.” Del Rey, Dufrene and his three children from a previous relationship gathered around for the photo op.

Following their wedding, a source told PEOPLE Del Ray’s relationship with Dufrene had been “kind of a whirlwind romance, but Lana’s close friends hoped she would get married.”
“Jeremy is different from the men that Lana meets in the entertainment world. He’s a great guy. He’s charming and charismatic in a Southern way, very much a gentleman, and he treats Lana really well. She’s an old soul,” the source said.
