The Jonas Brothers’ JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour is giving us everything we want—and then some, with epic throwback performers making a surprise appearance.
Kicking off on August 10, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the brothers — Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas — made it clear that this tour would be one for the books — and all the nostalgia. The opening night was a testament to their journey over the past two decades, with their first guest of the night was Switchfoot, a band the Jonas Brothers credit as one of their earliest influences, who joined them onstage for a special collaboration that got the crowd singing along with nostalgia and joy.
The surprises didn’t stop there. Jesse McCartney, another early supporter of the Jonas Brothers’ career, made an appearance to perform “Beautiful Soul,” while Dean Lewis, whose work is featured on their latest album Greetings From Your Hometown, joined for the moving ballad “Loved You Better.” However, the standout moment of the evening came when former Disney Channel costar Demi Lovato reunited with the brothers for a Camp Rock reunion. Performing a medley of songs from the 2008 original and its 2010 sequel, including “This Is Me” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.”
“It was so nice and healing. We’ve been through so much together, the Jonas Brothers and I. It was really great to spend time with them,” Demi said in an interview on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast of the concert appearance. She added that the invitation, which came just a week before the show, caught her by surprise. “It was so thoughtful, and I felt so appreciated. I loved it. Every second of it was so good.”
The night also featured the Jonas Brothers’ immediate family, who joined for a moving performance of “When You Look Me in the Eyes,” bringing the emotional evening to a heartfelt close. And with shows continuing across the country — including stops in Virginia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania — fans are definitely in for some more surprises!
