Family goals! Big Brother alums Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo are expanding their family — and fans couldn’t be more thrilled.
The couple, who share 4-year-old son Arrow, announced the exciting news on Instagram on August 24. “We are PREGNANT!! Praise Jesus!!” Nicole wrote. “A HUGE thank you to those who have been praying along side us for this miracle. 3 years in waiting and God said it’s time. Our little family is growing!!”
Alongside her announcement, Nicole shared multiple photos from a family photo shoot in Michigan, where the couple lives. She wore a long, button-front floral dress while lounging on a white picnic blanket with Victor and Arrow. One touching image showed Nicole cradling her baby bump in front of a clothesline, where a blue shirt hung that read “BROTHER” for Arrow.
The 33-year-old also revealed the news directly to Big Brother fans during the Aug. 24 episode of Big Brother: Unlocked. After sipping from a wine glass—well, grape juice—Nicole announced, “Victor and I are excited to announce that we’re having another Big Brother baby. I’m pregnant. We’re so excited!”
Nicole has previously opened up about her journey to conceive again. In May, she wrote on Facebook, “Three years of trying. One miracle baby. And a whole lot of surrender. After our son Arrow, getting pregnant again felt like it should be easy. He was a one-attempt miracle. But after my C-section, the doctor told us to wait a year—and we did. Then came month after month of negative pregnancy tests.”
She explained that shifting her mindset helped: “Eventually, I realized it wasn’t about what I was doing or not doing. It was God. It’s always been God… Maybe this season is holy in its own way too.”
Nicole and Victor, who met on Big Brother season 18, welcomed Arrow in July 2021 and tied the knot in March 2021. Reflecting on first-time parenthood, Nicole told In Touch in 2022, “Every stage is so much fun, but just watching the world through his eyes, it’s so exciting.” Victor added, “When he falls asleep right on my chest… it just melts my heart. It really is awesome.”
The couple has openly shared the challenges of parenthood, from six-hour shifts with Arrow to navigating sleep schedules, while leaning on family support. Nicole also candidly shared her postpartum experience: “I just see people make it normal to bounce back and like I’m still 30 pounds heavier than when I got pregnant with Arrow… I realized it takes a little longer than you think.”
