Leanne Morgan‘s hit Netflix sitcom Leanne has officially been renewed for a second season at Netflix!
The multi-cam comedy was created by Leanne, Susan McMartin, and Chuck Lorre. Not only did it receive positive reviews from critics, but the show debuted in the Netflix Global Top 10.
Leanne, who stars in the show along with being a co-creator and an executive producer, shared a statement expressing her excitement with Tudum.com: “We’re coming back for a second season! I am so grateful to all the writers, producers, Netflix, WB, our amazing cast and especially for all the fans of the show. Y’all did this for us and we can’t wait to be back!”

Following the success of her 2023 stand-up special I’m Every Woman, Leanne signed a new deal with Netflix to produce two more stand-up specials. The first of the two, Unspeakable Things, starts streaming on Netflix on November 4.
