Pitch Perfect cast members weren’t the only ones who showed up to celebrate their friend and costar. Katie Lowes of Scandal and The Hunting Wives was also in attendance at the event, which included a musical performance by Kenzie, who you may also know as Dance Moms alum Mackenzie Ziegler.
Kenzie’s performance included her song “Sophie,” and she told the crowd, “I really struggled finding girls here growing up. My mental health was kind of all over the place and I finally found a girl that just gets me like no one else and is like my true sister.”
Right before Kenzie’s performance, Snow thanked attendees for joining, as well as the 1 Hotel for letting her play her personal “no skips” playlist. “This is our five-year anniversary of doing this, and sharing the message of sharing your story and destigmatizing mental health, and really just writing letters that are sharing our truth,” she told the crowd. “I really, really appreciate you guys coming out here.” Anytime.
