Garrett Hedlund and Jennifer Nettles are heading to Netflix for an upcoming new movie!
The 41-year-old Tulsa King actor and the 51-year-old Righteous Gemstones actress and singer are among the new additions for the streamer’s mystery thriller Heartland, Deadline has revealed.

Along with Ross Lynch and Ben Dickey, they join previously announced stars Jessica Chastain, John Hawkes and country singer Carter Faith.
Here’s a synopsis: Former country megastar Misty Jones (Chastain) comes out of seclusion to investigate the disappearance of her missing niece (Faith), a rising country musician, and must grapple with her own past and Nashville’s seedy underbelly. Her search uncovers a murky side of Nashville where no one, including Misty, is who they seem.
This will mark a reunion for Garrett and Shana Feste, who serves as writer and director on the upcoming film. They previously worked together on 2010′s Country Strong, which she also wrote and directed.
Garrett can currently be seen in the third season of Tulsa King, which recently debuted its new season on Paramount+. New episodes drop on Sundays!
