Is it just us or is there something slightly Blair Waldorf about this ensemble? She looks like she’s on her way to ruin someone’s life. Someone who deserves it.
Crucially, the brunette Johnson had a healthy glow for the event, lest her choice of a shiny, pale material wash her out. Extra points to whoever mixed her spray tan, and to her makeup artist, Georgie Eisdell, who provided her nude lip and brown, smoky eye look.

Per Eisdell’s Instagram, she used all Merit products, starting with the Uniform Tinted Mineral Sunscreen and Perfecting Complexion Stick, shading with the Seine bronzer and Archival and Post Modern blushes, and cream eye shadows Iris, Palladium, and Nelson. For the brows Eisdell worked with a pencil in Light Brown and a Taupe gel, and for the lips a liner in Tabac, a color called Slip and a tinted lip oil called Twin Set.
Hair-wise, she wore it in the signature Dakota Johnson style. After finding the look that worked best for her, she has truly stuck to it, and in an era when a haircut is guaranteed to give you at least a day’s worth of headlines, there’s something admirable about her commitment to her bangs.
