Germano was a Brazilian voice artist and actor known for lending his voice to projects including Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Netflix’s Go, Dog, Go!, Disney’s Elena of Avalor and The Muppets. Additionally, he appeared on the soundtrack of Disney’s 2017 live-action Beauty and the Beast.
He was also a stage actor who worked on shows including The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon and Jekyll & Hyde.

Germano died at the age of 55 following a fall at his home on November 26.
“It is with deep sorrow that we confirm the passing of actor and voice artist Tony Germano on the morning of Wednesday, November 26. Tony suffered a fall at his residence and, unfortunately, did not survive his injuries,” Germano’s rep said in a statement to People.
The statement continued, “We kindly ask for respect and understanding during this painful time for his family, friends, and colleagues. Tony leaves behind a legacy of dedication, generosity and immense talent that touched everyone who had the privilege of working with him. His absence will be deeply felt.”
Germano suffered the fall when he lost his balance at his home in São Paulo while the property was undergoing renovations, according to outlets Folha de Sao Paulo and O Estado de Sao Paulo. He was staying at his parents’ home in Brazil before the fatal accident took place, according to Folha de Sao Paulo.

Actor Tony Germano Remembered Fondly By Coworkers
After Germano’s death was announced, Labyrinth of Lost Boys director Matheus Marchetti took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute.
While reflecting on their creative partnership, Marchetti said it “seemed like it was going to last forever.” Marchetti then remembered Germano acting as a “father figure” on set, sharing that he was “someone any of us could count on.”
“I am so lucky to have found a soul as generous, as talented, and as endearing as Tony Germano. It’s a gift from the rarest of all,” Marchetti said.
