‘Tis the season to be a country fan. Country stars such as Megan Moroney, Lady A, Riley Green and more will perform at the CMAs Christmas Special this Tuesday night.
The holiday special will air on ABC on Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. ET and will be available to stream the next day on Disney+ and Hulu. But if you don’t have cable, the best way to stream the event live online is on Sling TV, whose Sling Blue package has ABC. The best offer is on the Sling Orange + Blue package, which is currently half off for your first month.
Lauren Daigle, the crossover/Christian music star and Jordan Davis, one of country’s leading men, will co-host this year’s holiday special. While nothing has been formally announced, it’s typical for the event’s hosting duo to also perform a duet. Last year, hosts Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood sang a joint rendition of “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” and “Joy to the World.”
Other performers throughout the night include Little Big Town and Parker McCollum, along with outside-the-genre guests stars the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks and BeBe Winans.
The yuletide special follows last month’s CMA Awards, where Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley and Riley Green each scored three honors, with Wilson taking away the most coveted prize, entertainer of the year.
After CMA Christmas, country fans can look forward to CBS’ five-hour Nashville New Year’s Eve Special featuring headliners Lainey Wilson, Jason Aldean and Bailey Zimmerman. But before the New Year, get into the holiday spirit by streaming the CMA Christmas special online:
