In a recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce spoke with actor George Clooney, who gave them some sound marriage advice.
Travis asked George to clarify claims that he has never argued with his wife of 11 years, lawyer and activist Amal Clooney.
George responded, saying “I’m not lying!” before turning the question back on Travis.
“Well, it’s only been two and a half years, and you’re right, I haven’t gotten in an argument, never once,” Travis said of his relationship with his pop superstar fiance Taylor Swift.
“Honestly, neither one of us are gonna win the argument, so why get in it?” George said in the interview, referring to him and Amal.
Jason then asked George what his secret was to having such a long and peaceful relationship without conflict.
“Dude, I’m 64 years old, what am I gonna argue about at this point?” George said. “I’ve met this incredible woman that she’s beautiful and smart and stands for all the most important things that I believe in in the world, and I can’t believe how lucky I am, so what am I gonna fight about?”
“That’s a great answer,” responded Jason, who has been married to his wife Kylie Kelce for seven years.
Both brothers then responded that they were writing down George’s great advice for their own lives.
In the comments of the clip on Instagram, fans were also loving the advice.
“George’s answer is everything that’s good in this life 🥹❤️❤️🙌🏻” one fan commented.
“Good men don’t argue, no urge to win against their girl … they wanna see her win,” another fan added.
