Sienna Spiro‘s heartbreaking song “Die On This Hill” is becoming one of the most popular songs in the world right now and we can’t stop listening to it.
The 20-year-old British singer-songwriter performed the song on The Tonight Show last week and the single is climbing the charts.
Sienna sings on the track, “I’ll take my pride, stand here for you / No, I’m not blind, just seeing it through / You’d take my life just for the thrill / I’ll take tonight and die on this hill / I always will.”
“Die on This Hill” reached #69 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week of January 10 and it’s expected to climb to an even higher point for the week of January 17.

In an interview with TMRW Magazine, Sienna opened up about what the song means to her.
“Die On This Hill means a lot of things to me — but ultimately, whenever I hear it, I’m so reminded of myself,” Sienna said. “One thing I pride myself on is my loyalty. It takes a lot for me to let people in, but once I do, I’m locked in for that person, which is a blessing and a curse. I often find myself in situations where I’m losing myself to help others find who they are, and I think what I sometimes mask as stubbornness is really just a deep fear of only being a visitor to someone, and not meaning as much to them as they do to me. So in short, I think the phrase Die On This Hill feels like loyalty to me — and also that what’s sometimes masked as stubbornness is really just a fear of being temporary to someone.”
She added, “I think sometimes we hold onto things because letting go sometimes feels like we are admitting it didn’t mean as much as we thought and it’s less about the person and more the promise we made to ourselves. But ultimately for me, I am so scared of just being a visitor to people I stick around far longer than I should.”
