When I’m packing for a beach vacation, sandals are the no-brainer shoe I reach for. But Dakota Johnson convinced me that there’s another style just as practical, but a touch chicer. 

While vacationing in Ibiza, Johnson, 35, wore her triangle bikini and easy slip skirt with a pair of mesh flats: The easy, outfit-elevating shoes everyone from Nicole Kidman, 58, to Margot Robbie, 35, and Gigi Hadid, 30, has been sporting this summer.

Gap’s silver Mary Janes are an easy add-to-cart while they’re on sale from just $23. These check off two of summer’s biggest trends, pairing that breathable mesh design with an outfit-elevating metallic hue. Shoppers rave that the shoes can “jazz up” any look “without any effort.”
