I own several vacuums—six, in fact—and I’m running out of closet space to fit them all. Actually, I ran out of space four vacuums ago, and yet, here I am, stuffing upright vacuums and vac-and-mop combos into linen closets, praying the doors stay shut. While I’m not in the market for a new one anytime soon (my husband might revolt if I was), I just so happened to notice that my favorite vac out of the six is still on sale—and at its Prime Day price, no less.
Yep, even though the Amazon sale is officially over, my daily go-to Bissell CrossWave Omniforce Multi-Surface Hard Floor Cleaner is still $100 off right now.

Technically, the Bissell CrossWave Omniforce is both a vacuum and mop, which is why it’s so convenient for daily use. I actually don’t even bother stuffing it in the closet with the rest of my vacuum collection. Instead, I leave it right in the kitchen for easy access when I need to do a quick cleanup. Whenever there are clumps of the dog’s shedding hair rolling across the tile like tumbleweeds, I turn on vacuum mode, and when my 10-month-old is finished painting puree everywhere, I wet-mop underneath the high chair in record time.
It’s conveniently cordless and comes with a charging dock, but I love that the vacuum doesn’t actually need the dock to stand up straight. One of my biggest complaints about most stick vacuum cleaners is that they’re unable to stand up on their own, and in comparison, this Bissell stays upright just fine.
Its battery also lasts a long time. I have a medium-sized kitchen, but I find myself only needing to charge the vacuum once a month. I’ve used it a handful of times this past week on both kitchen tile and living room carpet, and I still have 23% battery left.

This Bissell’s ability to seamlessly transition from cleaning carpet to mopping hardfloors is undoubtedly the cleaner’s most enticing feature. There’s no powering down, adjusting features, or swapping out cleaning pads; I just hit the button that looks like a water drop to immediately enable mopping mode without missing a beat. The large LED screen also conveniently displays the current mode and battery level, so it’s easy to see which mode I’m using. If I want to switch back to vacuuming-only mode, I can do so by pressing the water droplet button again.
There is also a turbo mode—again, just the press of one button—which allows me to tackle pet hair that’s deeply embedded into the carpet with extra oomph. And last but not least, another favorite feature is the clean-out cycle; it automatically rinses the brush roll and flushes debris into the dirty tank, which is separate from the clean water tank.
After several months of frequent, almost-daily use, the Bissell CrossWave Omniforce Multi-Surface Hard Floor Cleaner has quickly become my go-to vacuum (and mop, too!). Grab it now while it’s still available at its Prime Day price for $300 at Amazon, and check out more vacuum cleaners and steam mops below.
