- During the discussion, Huda opened up about getting pregnant at 18
- She also shared the story of learning she was pregnant after taking a test in the Walmart bathroom
She’s a mommy. A mamacita, if you will.
Huda Mustafa was one of the most polarizing contestants on Love Island USA, but if there’s one thing the world knows about her and her meme-worthy moments, it’s that she’s the mother of a 5-year-old daughter named Arleigh.
However, Huda, 24, has shared very little publicly about her life before entering the Villa until now. The reality star didn’t hold back during her nearly two-hour appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, detailing her teenage pregnancy while she was in what she called a “very toxic” relationship with her daughter’s father, Noah Sheline.
“I really, really liked him off the jump,” Huda told Cooper, 30, of her ex.

Huda called herself “naive” at 18, saying she hadn’t experienced much of the dating world until after she turned 18.
“I didn’t have my first kiss until after high school. I didn’t have sex until after high school,” she shared. “When I lost my virginity and that man was sleeping with one of the girls who bullied me at school. I was like, ‘Be so for real.’ ”
But when Huda began experiencing pregnancy symptoms, including extreme morning sickness, she started getting worried.
“We got to Walmart, okay, we go to Wally World, and I was like, ‘Let’s go buy Plan B,’ “ she recalled. “I’m looking at the pregnancy tests and I’m like, ‘Do you think we should buy pregnancy tests?’ And he’s like, ‘Why?’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t know, I just feel like we should buy one.’ “

At the time, Huda recalled thinking that the pregnancy test was cheaper than the Plan B, and said she planned to return the Plan B if she was, in fact, pregnant.
“I go in the Walmart bathroom, and I pee on the stick and put it back in the box,” she said. “And I walk out, and he’s like, ‘What did it say?’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t know yet, it’s still developing.’ We walk to the car. He’s like, ‘Are you gonna open it yet?’ Open that s—, pregnant. I say, ‘Oh.’ We started crying. We were in shock. I was in shock.”
In the months after finding out she was pregnant, Huda said she and her ex “kept breaking up and getting back together.”
She also shared that she didn’t tell anyone in her life her news for months.
“I actually kept it from my mom for three or four months,” she said, noting that she had moved back in with her mom at the time. “I kept it from everybody for three or four months. I didn’t know how to do this at all. I didn’t even know I was supposed to go to the doctors.”
Huda said she finally told her mom when she commented on her gaining weight.

These days, Huda said that she and her ex have “split custody” of their daughter, but that she has her little girl “the majority of the time.”
“I’m with her 24/7,” Huda said. “I do the pickups and drop-offs at school. I pack her lunches. You know, I’m there to give her a pep talk if the kids are being mean to her in class. Like, I’m there for her through and through. She tells me about the boys she likes.”
Huda and Sheline, who serves in the U.S. Army, per several photos on his Instagram, welcomed Arleigh in July 2020. Sheline shared a glimpse into his 5th birthday celebrations for his little girl in an carousel post shared on July 16 and called her his “PRINCESSA.”

During her time on Love Island USA, Sheline defended Huda amid a public backlash after she received criticism for coupling up with Jeremiah Brown on the first day of season 7 and appeared not to pursue other connections.
“She’s maybe not doing a great job idk I don’t watch the show but I don’t like that I’m seeing so much negative s— on my page or even clips of it about her,” Sheline wrote on his TikTok story last month. “It’s not my job to police her or the people in my comments, but I will say what you guys do will affect her mental health and my daughter’s maybe in the future.”
He continued, “So I’m looking out for her in that aspect. Out of respect for our daughter.”
