Wes Bergmann and More ‘The Challenge’ Stars Reunite at Kyle Christie’s Wedding

Kyle Christie’s The Challenge costars weren’t going to miss out on his Italian nuptials!

Several of the reality TV star’s friends and costars, including Johnny Bananas, Wes Bergmann and Nelson Thomas were on hand for his wedding to Vicky Turner in Rome over the weekend. 

Following the July 20 nuptials, Bergmann shared a series of photos on Instagram showing himself posing with Thomas, Bananas and Devin Walker. He jokingly captioned the post, “Don’t let the tuxes fool you — we’re still the reason there’s a damage deposit.”

Bananas also posted several snaps of the guys hanging out together at the wedding. One photo showed the 43-year-old posing in a dapper tuxedo while holding a parasol. “Forever a bridesmaid never a bride 🍌👰,” he quipped.

Ahead of the wedding, Christie’s costars shared photos of themselves exploring the sights of the Eternal City. Bergmann, in particular, posted a sweet reunion picture on Instagram of himself having dinner with Bananas, Thomas and Walker. 

“When in Rome, do as the Romans do…,” he wrote alongside the post on Wednesday, July 16.

He also took snapshots of himself, Walker and Christie in front of two of the city’s most popular attractions, the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. In addition, he shared pictures of himself at a bar with Christie’s parents, trying some pasta and entering a gelato shop.

“Rome is wildly impressive,” he captioned his Instagram post shared on Friday, July 18. “The architecture is ridiculous. The pasta and gelato are borderline illegal. And as a redhead, I’m basically treated like royalty here — like some ancient prophecy foretold my arrival.”

Bergmann also shared some details about Christie’s pre-wedding events, noting that he “survived” a “nine-hour bar crawl with all of Kyle’s friends and family” the day prior and joked that he met “a slew” of Christie’s “incredibly pleasant degenerate friends he’s known since before he could read.”

“But I didn’t come here for carbs or compliments,” he wrote. “I came here with a purpose: to figure out what on earth Vicky sees in Kyle. No luck yet. But I’m giving it time… and wine.”

Christie and Turner legally wed in December 2024, and announced the news on Instagram alongside a photo of themselves in wedding attire in front of an altar. They could be seen sharing a kiss and even getting their son Crew Jax, 2½  — who wore a mini tux — in on the fun.

“Legally Mr & Mrs Christie, next stop Rome 💍,” Christie captioned the photo.

Turner also teased their Roman nuptials on her own Instagram on June 22 alongside a black-and-white photo of her and her fiancé holding hands while in front of the Trevi Fountain. She wrote: “Four short weeks until we say I do and a birthday all in one weekend🥹🤍💍 @kylecgshore.”

On her Instagram Stories on Thursday, July 17, she also shared a photo of herself looking out a window with the words, “Counting the days.”
