The 2026 Oscars nominations have just been announced, and we know now the contenders for this year’s categories, including Best Original Song.
This year, there are five songs that are competing for the prestigious award, which will be handed out at the ceremony in March.
If you don’t know, Conan O’Brien is returning as the host of this year’s ceremony, which will air on Sunday (March 15) at 7 p.m. ET on ABC.

5. “Sweet Dreams of Joy,” Viva Verdi
With less than 1% of the bets, “Sweet Dreams of Joy” is considered the least likely to win.
The song is by Nicholas Pike, and is performed by operatic soprano Ana María Martinez.
4. “Train Dreams,” Train Dreams
With less than 1% of the bets, “Train Dreams” is considered the fourth most likely song to win.
The song by Nick Cave and Bryce Dessner.
