Just days after Jill Zarin’s firing from the upcoming E! series The Golden Life, fans of the reality star are calling for her return.
“She’s entitled to her opinion,” one fan tells In Touch, while another adds, “I was really looking forward to the new show on E!, but if Jill’s not on the show I won’t bother. She gave her opinion, and there wasn’t anything wrong with it.”
E! begs to differ, so they let her go. “Leave it to Jill to bring the drama before the show even started filming. She’s reality TV gold,” an industry insider tells In Touch. “E! made a kneejerk reaction and could still reverse it.”
Zarin was set to film The Golden Life alongside fellow Real Housewives of New York City alumni Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon and Sonja Morgan, but was canned over her comments on Instagram regarding Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance.

Zarin ranted that the halftime show “looked like a political statement, because there were literally no white people in the entire thing” in a since-deleted Instagram post, which was captured and shared on X by content creator Gibson Johns.
“In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in ‘The Golden Life.’ We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values,” the show’s producers said in a statement to Variety on Tuesday, February 10.
“They didn’t even give me a chance,” Zarin, 62, previously told In Touch exclusively. “I took it down right away. People make mistakes. I’m human.”
“Reality shows are meant to show flaws and all,” adds the insider. “Jill knows she has many but was willing to share it on TV. Unfortunately, E! wasn’t willing to back her and let all this drama play out on the show.”
“It’s a big loss for reality TV fans.”
