Olivia Parker has a way of making ordinary moments feel a little strange. In her new book, To That the Sides of the Dark, the photographer brings together quiet, intimate images taken over time, from familiar scenes to moments that are harder to place. Dark, atmospheric, and sometimes a little unsettling, the photographs get at memory, longing, and desire without spelling it all out.
